Continued from Day 14.3 Munich
Contiki European Experience – Day 14 of 20 (part 4 of 4)
Finally my last post for Day 14! After such a long day, I all think best to end the day with a good old German beer! Wouldn’t you agree? This is an optional event which cost 24 euros. Since there’s not really much to do on a Sunday in Germany, might as well join the others dine, drink, sing and dance! At Munchner Haupt, we had the hall to ourselves and a private show. If you look around, you’ll find german cuteness all around. Well german decorated theme I mean. I’m sure the boys think the german girls are pretty cute though *wink wink*.
Tip: Sit at the front to get a good view of the show.
How to hold your Beer Stein
You know they say you can tell whether you’re local or not by the way you old your stein. The locals holds the cup while the tourist holds it by the handles. You decide how you want to hold it. I prefer to hold by the handle just so my hands won’t warm up the beer. Though the traditional stein is made to keep your beer cold longer, you usually get the glass opened top ones nowadays. Or simply bring your own! (The one I’m holding is quite heavy.. I think it’s a litre or more!).
Watch them play musical instruments and dance!
The show was really enjoyable and you just want them to play faster and faster!! Made me want to get out of my seat and dance (which you get to do at the end :-D). A lot of audience participation it was really good. They also pick out audiences to dance with them! Let’s see how well you can dance ;-).
During meal time, there will be a professional photographer walking around taking photo. At the end of the session you can buy your photo in a keyring bottle opener for 10 euros.
Overall a very enjoyable night out. Highly recommend you don’t miss out on this option and drink to your heart’s content!
